Caring for Those Who Trust in Us

 

A nurse who invests his/her talent in long-term care reaps a rich and rewarding experience. Working with the elderly to help them live at their highest optimal level is the primary goal of each nurse at New Hampton Care Center.

 

To keep the residents' quality of life high, the Health Service Supervisor leads the team through many objectives, from the important general care of the residents -- to maintaining proficient nurses and aides through education and development of the nursing staff -- to working efficiently as a team with each and every other department.

 

Amenities & Activities

 

      Some of our facilities amenities include a full service beauty shop, large formal dining room for special events, and two lounges for private family gatherings. There is also a beautiful courtyard with a walking path and a chapel with a large stained glass window. Church services by various denominations are held on a weekly basis.

 

      We offer a terrific activities program with a full package of activities from cards and exercises, to baking, manicures, and crafts. We are active with the school systems in New Hampton with activities for both young and old alike. The residents can go on chassis rides to see the changing leaves in the fall and Christmas lights in the winter. We also have an active resident council in which the residents are in charge.

 

Dietary Services

 

      New Hampton Care Center has a tremendous food service program to make dining an enjoyable experience for the residents. We have restaurant style dining allowing residents to choose their meals from a daily changing menu.

 

     Dietary service is a primary concern for all residents. Our meals are nutritious as well as tasty. The selective menu program was developed to give our residents some control over what they eat, and is prepared by a Registered Dietician. It was developed to complement the residents' tastes, as well as therapeutic diets prescribed by physicians. Meals are served in the spacious dining room during a 90-minute time frame.

Safety, Comfort, and Cleanliness

 

We want you to be as comfortable and the New Hampton Care Center will be accommodating as possible, and every department plays an integral role in helping us achieve that goal.

 

Laundry Services are provided daily for both linens and each resident's personal clothing. We also pride ourselves in providing a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.

 

The Housekeeping Staff is available seven days a week to maintain an attractive and healthy facility.
